Farm-City Scarecrow Contest
The scarecrow contest was introduced in 2009 to all students in grades 3-8 attending school in Clarendon County. There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner for each grade level. Winners will receive a cash prize and a certificate.
There are two categories.
Category 1: Students will create a scarecrow by either drawing, coloring, or creating a poster or a collage.
Category 2: Students will create a freestanding scarecrow out of recycled materials.
The freestanding scarecrow must not be taller than 20".
